The Concept Of Christianity

There is one God revealed through the Scriptures as a Trinity of three distinct persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

Jesus died for our sins and in so doing suffered the judgement of God on our behalf that we might be forgiven, be reconciled to God and brought close to Him

Christian Scriptures

The Christian Holy Book is called the Bible, and consists of the Old and New Testaments. The Bible has many rituals of purification in a wider context of ‘Religious Living’. For the purposes of Custody, general rituals of handwashing occur before worship for some Christians. For Roman Catholics, Holy Water may be required as a ritual symbolism of cleansing themselves, usually by dipping the fingertips in the Holy Water and then making the sign of the cross.
