We're pleased to announce the launch of TALK, a new internal group dedicated to providing a supportive and confidential space for men to discuss mental health.
TALK aims to create a community where men can share experiences, offer support and engage in open conversations about wellbeing.
This group is created with Men in mind. Anyone who is struggling, feeling overwhelmed or just want to talk with other men, the group is open to you!
This is a safe space. A non-judgemental, supportive and confidential environment.
If you need support before you attend a session, find a Mental Health first aider here.
TALK is a peer support group, started by your colleagues at NEXT who are passionate about supporting Men and mental health. The sessions will be facilitated by Seth Davies, one of the Head's of HR.
The sessions will run every other Tuesday at 7:30pm in The Lounge at Enderby, Head Office.
The first session will be on Tuesday 5th August at 7:30pm. The Lounge has step free access, with a lift available.
If you have any questions, concerns or worries, you can reach out directly to Seth Davies.
We want you to feel confident that all discussions within the group are strictly confidential.
Anything discussed in the room, stays in the room for the group. We want everyone to feel empowered to share and discuss openly.
This group is a place for you to talk openly about anything that is bothering you within a non-judgemental space.
Come along to connect with other men who may be facing similar challenges. This could help you learn new perspectives and ways of dealing with things.
This is a step closer to better mental health and resilience.
No! You can simply just turn up on the day of the session.
Of course not. There is no pressure to talk if you don't want to. You can just come along to listen. You may find that you take something useful away from just coming along.
Yes! We have a dedicated Wellbeing site with lots of useful resources you can access ranging from support at work and financial support.
